Aable HomeHealth Services, Inc. was founded to provide quality healthcare
services to consumers in their homes, in recognition of the fact that home
health care can be a cost-effective alternative to a lengthy, more expensive
institutional care. In fact, majority of clients would prefer to recuperate
from an illness or accident in their own homes.
The Agency's organizational structure includes: Administrator, alternate administrator, Director of Nursing, alternate director of nursing, Board of Directors, and other medical and administrative staff members. The Agency has a Professional Advisory group that consist of all disciplines represented in the services the Agency provides, including: skilled nursing services, physical and occupational therapy services, home health aid services, social worker services and medical services. The advisory committee also includes a lay person, representing the interest of the consumer. The advisory committee reviews the Agency's organizational structure, mission and scope of services and approves policies and procedures. The professional advisory committee also acts as the ethics committee for the Agency.
The Agency provides services in the following counties: : Dallas, Denton, Collin, Kauffman, Rockwall, and Tarrant. The target population is mainly geriatric and minority groups who are eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, and reside in the counties the Agency operates.
The Agency provides skilled nursing, home health aide, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and medical social workers.
The Agency has developed a good rapport with area physicians and social workers and has mostly excellent ratings from its client survey responses. The agency has received certification to accept and treat clients with wound vacs. The agency is Medicare Certified and CHAP accredited.
